I recently came across this fantastic building, designed and built in the 70's by Ricardo Bofill just outside Barcelona. The internal courtyards of the building are a beautiful mix of blues violets and greens, contrasting the external terracotta red colour, which is what attracted me to it. There are 18 towers, seven courtyards, a modular but unsystematic grid, and extensive public space, creating a vertical labyrinth with no repetitiveness or uniformity - which is incredible!
