Lighthouse Walk, de Beauvoir

Home Staging for New Development

The brief for this project came from a London property Developer to home stage these Scandi style houses in a gated development built for the rental market in de Beauvoir.

Designed by architect Stephen Donald Associates and build by Modernarc, this eco-friendly development named ‘Lighthouse Walk’ consisted of 4 houses, each with individual configurations, nestled in the back streets of de Beauvoir, and surrounded by a communal landscaped courtyard.  The upstairs living rooms & kitchen areas are almost completely glass, each with bi-folding balcony doors that opened onto a living wall terrace, which gave a real ‘inside/outside’ experience.

My brief was to source furniture that would lend itself to a very open plan style of living and be versatile for the individual layouts of each house, leaving enough scope for tenants to add their own personality into the space.  Ercol furniture felt like a good match for such a light airy space and went well with the oak joinery and exterior wood cladding.  Duette blinds were chosen for their top down/bottom up flexibility and energy-saving qualities.  I was asked to prop-style this show house to demonstrate a more personalised finish and add a bit of life-style appeal for the new potential clients.
